Professor Yageng Li
My research focuses on the development of biomaterials and medical devices through additive manufacturing (AM) and machine learning (ML). In our previous work, we developed AM-based biodegradable porous metallic implants for the treatment of large bone defects. I am deeply committed to interdisciplinary research at the intersection of materials science, biomechanics, and biomedical engineering, aiming to design and fabricate biomaterials with unique properties that can address real-world clinical challenges and improve patient outcomes.
